Guardianship & Conservatorship

Bouneff, Chally & Koh represents guardians and conservators for both adults and minors. We establish, administer, and close guardianships and conservatorships; oversee recordkeeping and reporting; and prepare special powers of attorney.

In many cases we develop longstanding professional relationships with guardians and conservators, assisting them over the course of decades. Bob Bouneff and John Chally also occasionally serve as guardians and conservators for protected persons, either as appointed by court or on the request of other attorneys.

Our firm also represents people who have had or may have a guardian or conservator appointed to them. Our services for protected people include making sure a guardianship or conservatorship is absolutely necessary given our clients’ circumstances, striving to give our clients the greatest degree of autonomy possible, and handling contested guardianships and conservatorships.
