One of the things you may worry about as you consider placing your child for adoption is how you will pay for the expenses of the pregnancy and birth.

Both Oregon and Washington law allow potential adoptive parents to assist birth mothers with expenses reasonably related to the pregnancy, birth, and post-partum recovery. Adoptive parents will typically cover your legal, medical, and counseling fees, and may cover all or part of your living expenses.
